1. The service

We provide a free, unlimited (fair-use), no-sign-up URL shortener: custom aliases, expiry presets, QR codes, public click counters, and link preview viaunshorten. The service runs on Cloudflare Workers + D1 with edge redirects worldwide.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to create, share, or promote short links that involve:

• Spam, phishing, malware, ransomware, or deceptive redirects.
• Illegal content, fraud, or infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights.
• CSAM, harassment, hate, threats, or graphic violence.
• Bulk automated creation that evades rate limits, bot checks, or Turnstile challenges.
• Impersonation of urlshortenerapp.com or circumvention of expiry and abuse controls.

3. Slugs, expiry & removal

• Custom aliases (3–64 chars: letters, numbers, dash, underscore) are first-come, first-served and may be reclaimed if abusive.
• Links expire per your choice (1 hour to never). Expired slugs may be recycled.
• We may — without notice — delete links, block slugs or IPs, and share hashes with blocklists when we detect abuse or receive valid reports via report.
• Click counts are approximate and provided as-is for transparency, not billing or legal proof.

4. Third-party destinations

Short links redirect to third-party sites we do not control. Always preview unfamiliar links with ourunshorten URL tool before opening. You visit destinations at your own risk.

5. Free service, ads & availability

The service is free, funded by non-intrusive ads and affiliate links. We aim for fast global availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. Features, limits, and expiry options may change to protect reliability and prevent abuse.

6. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of short links or third-party destinations.
